Berlin - Friday

Friday 10th June.
Jilly still crook and went to the doctor again, more drugs!
The girls went shopping again so I went for a walk.
Lots of graffitti in Berlin

Past the Fernsehturn - Telecom tower

Past the Marien Kirche

and some crazy kids on a 6 seater bike

and a fantastic fountain that is between the church and the Rathaus

to look at the Berliner Rathaus - Red Town Hall. Fantastic on the outside, but closed so couldn't get in.

On to the Nikolai Kirche

With the statue of the Bear in front of it

along the canal with its numerous tourist boats

a view of the balloon over the Altes Museum

and some interesting statues in the park opposite the Berlin Dom

and statues of kids along the side of the canal

Met the Girls for lunch at the Brahaus Restaurent where I had a great feed of baked pork shank saurkraut and mashed potatoes. I ate so much I could hardly breath

We went to see the show "SOAP" at the Chamaleon - fabulous old theatre, seated in tables with table service. Great show - athletics around baths, similar style to Saltimbanco.
